Well Summer has arrived & yes still more rain !, where does it all come from..}… The Melville Club gardens are looking really nice & in full bloom. Hopefully ‘once’ the nice weather arrives we can spend time relaxing in it. Thank all the members for their support, help & David for making it look nice.
Recent Passing of Mr. Bernard Price
Sadly, Bernard recently passed away following ill health. Bernard enjoyed all the interaction & laughs with all the Melville Club members. Since Covid he has not been in good health & struggled with his mobility. We all have happy & fond memories of Bernard & we will miss his cheeky smile. We extend our sincere condolences to Susan, Harold & Jane who faithfully & tirelessly nursed him to the end.

Day Trip to Llandudno: 4th July 2023

In liaison with the Parish-Magazine they have kindly published the 2023 Membership Application in the April issue. We have been able to hold the £12.00 annual subscription {3 years now}. If there are any readers who would like to join or re-join then please complete & forward back to myself. Golden Years in the Melville Club
Mrs. Niccy Cottle is holding ‘The Melville Club “Golden Years” every Tuesday from 1:00 – 3:00pm for light entertainment & refreshments. You do not need to be a member of the Melville Club to attend.

Dr. Melville Legge Minibus: 15-seater available
As you are aware we are now the proud owner of a 15-seater mini bus. This mini bus has been purchased to help assist the Melville Club members to get around the village & local outings. The Melville Club have been approached to offer the mini bus service to the Parish of Albrighton Community. We are now in the planning stage & once all has been finalised, we will advise accordingly. Indoor Carpet Bowling Equipment: For Sale
