Well, did you all have an enjoyable Christmas & New Year, my, did that lot go quickly…

Hopefully 2024 will be another interesting & enjoyable year for many of us ~ winter is now here in full throttle, so please be very careful & take it slowly. We our doing our very best to keep the Melville Club Flag flying & support our members.

Thank-you to all the members for their help, support & encouragement in 2023.

Christmas Meal:- Wednesday 6th December 2023 & Closure/Return Date

We held our Christmas Lunch for the members in the Melville Club this year. It was a resounding success & we booked ‘Jack’  the magician to entertain us & he was brilliant.

We are shut for three weeks {13th, 20th & 27th  December} returning 3rd January 2024.

Big thank-you to all who very kindly gave Raffle prizes:- Training Wing at RAF Cosford, local businesses in Albrighton & immediate surrounding area. This certainly helped to offset some expense.

This year’s Christmas meal was dedicated to the memory of Brian & Joan Swann & a sincere thank-you to the family for their grateful sponsorship.

Farewell to our dear friends

Sadly again, we have lost two more Melville Club members in late 2023, & please a few moments to pause & reflect on their lives & friendship. Ever mindful of those left behind, with the void & loss we all express our compassion & thoughts to their family & friends.

Please give a silent prayer to those called to higher service:- Dot Wedge & Hazel Jenkins.
